Three Estates. One Vision. Wines Built to Last.

O’Shaughnessy Estate Winery crafts Cabernet Sauvignon and estate whites from three of Napa Valley’s most distinct growing regions. Each one a different conversation between vine and soil. Each one worth the patience it demands.

In 1990, Betty O’Shaughnessy walked thirty-two acres of Oakville and recognized something lasting. Over the decade that followed, she and winemaker Sean Capiaux built a team and estate that spans three of Napa Valley’s most celebrated appellations — Oakville on the valley floor, Howell Mountain in the volcanic highlands, Mount Veeder in the Mayacamas range. A cave was carved. A winery was built. The first harvest atop Howell Mountain came in 2003, and the work of making wine worthy of these coveted AVA regions has continued every year since.

Carved into the hillside above Howell Mountain, our cave tasting room is one of the most intimate wine experiences in Napa Valley. Visits are private, unhurried, and by appointment only.

O’Shaughnessy wine club members receive first access to every new release, including wines available to members alone. They’re invited to private cave tastings, harvest events, and library verticals. They’re the first to know when something exceptional comes out of the cellar.
